behind the logos
for the logo of gwyneth’s garden, i wanted to showcase the theme of “growth” in each logo variation. the first logo that came to mind was the handwritten logo. this was the first time i had ever designed a logo, so this was my version of “growth,” and trying something new. the next logo variation was the flower trio in two different forms. the trio symbolizes my siblings and i, which i go into depth in inspiration. in both variations of the flower trio, the trio symbolizes the different journeys and points of life that all of us are partaking in. and finally, the logo of gwyneth’s garden (on the left).
for the process of the logos, i did begin with physical sketches that i have shared below. from finding the right logos and colors, the process is all a blur, but i do love showing progression pictures because it reminds me of how far i’ve come. so, please enjoy the initial look of my logos.
